On my mind..........

Or teenage girls are still falling victim to this of love. I was driving down a popular street in my home town and was taken back. There was a girl in her very early teens with a pregnant belly. She was not only lugging a 5pound back pack,but also a 6pound womb.
They are experiencing an adult life way to early. All on there myspace pages are ultrasound pictures and shout outs to there "Babydaddys". Years down the line these knuckle head boys will not be in the picture and on to he next.Its time to build self esteem in our girls. Laying down with

them.

Tonya Barton founder of "Embedded Hearts", started this youth program for young teenage mothers and girls. This programs is a non-profit organization and depends on the community to empower the youth."Embedded Hearts"provides assistant with:

• Resume writing
• Job searching assistance
• Government assistance ( housing, daycare action and preparation etc. )
• Private Clinic care with our physician
• Safe Sex education- birth control, family planning
• College application assistance ( fasfa etc. )
• Life Crisis

and much more.

This program is to provide help to intercity youth girls between the ages of 16 through 21 ( and teen mothers) achieve goals , give direction and provide useful resources to better there life and education. The core values are to protect and give back hope when all else fails. My purpose is also to give back to the community and be of any assistance in providing a path of success for these young teens.

MISSION STATEMENT:
To help teenage girls and teenage mothers overcome difficult obstacles in life. To help build back self-esteem to our youth and provide building blocks to build a successful tomorrow. To provide services and opportunities to help promote life. Giving back to the community one girl at a time.
